However you plan on getting to Vermilion, once you arrive you'll find our town easy to navigate and welcoming.
Historic downtown attractions, including dining, shopping, the library, beach and more, are easily walkable from one to another and getting to the other side of town is just minutes by bike or car. For boaters, there are plenty of options for docking and many put you right in the heart of downtown.
There's ample on-street and free public parking throughout downtown, most lots are free to the public and paid parking is typically a small charge.

Arriving by Boat
Vermilion is the largest small boat harbor on Lake Erie. With more than 10 marinas, many with marine stores, there's plenty of docking and a variety of amenities to accommodate your needs as well as conveniently located bait and tackle stores.
Vermilion's Port Authority also has four locations for dockage including overnight accommodations, a public boat launch and ways to get your kayak or canoe into the water.
Arriving by Bicycle
Vermilion is a wonderful destination or a perfect stop on a biking excursion. You'll find plenty of places to park and lock bikes throughout downtown and in our parks.
Bike repair stations are conveniently located at Exchange Park in the middle of town.
