ART STOP:
Creative Opportunities on the Go!

Public Art Vermilion created Art Stops as an add on to special events. It features multiple opportunities to be creative, have some fun with art and work as a community to make something unique. Art Stops are for everyone and free. Here’s a sample of our projects and activities!

Hats Off! Off the top of your head, how creative can you be? We’ve created some pretty special paper hats for both adults and kids to add their own special touches.

PAV Chalkboard This crowd favorite always poses a new challenge or theme that will stir your creativity.

Flower Mosaic It will take 401 colorful little canvases and all summer to create this light-hearted mural. We can’t wait until it comes together!

Art Cubes In the spirit of cubism, a style of three-dimensional artwork, through geometrical shapes, you’re invited to add a square to this ever evolving display.

Stick Figures Pick up a set of paint sticks and get to work depicting you! Take a bunch home for a family art activity. You can also stop in at Main Street any day to pick up yours.

Art Abandonment Create and share random acts of art! This activity is about creating small pieces of art like a painting, sculpture, poem, or short story and abandoning in unusual places for someone to find and take home.

Three Season Tree Ritter Public Library cohosts this project that changes with the seasons. It a simple and beautiful project made for everyone.
